Me In A Dream is a four-piece indie rock band hailing from Melbourne, Australia, blending high-energy anthems with atmospheric depth. Channeling the spirit of Brit alt-rock icons like Foals, Doves, White Lies, and Bloc Party, they weave in lush, introspective melodies and a distinctly Australian psychedelic flair that echoes the likes of Holy Holy and The Belligerents. Add a pulse of electronic textures, and you get a sound that’s bold, genre-blurring, and unmistakably their own — a sonic dreamscape where emotion meets momentum.
The band was conceived by the deep-voiced front man Chris Pehrson, inspired by a strange fan message from a previous project claiming to have been visited by an angel in a dream with a request to help him. Whilst on an intense, lockdown-induced songwriting binge, it became clear that the songs deserved to be performed with the energy of a live band.
